So I have now completed my design classics box set and overall I'm happy with the result, I am especially happy about how my t-shirt design came out. My design classic was the Smeg fridge and what's a fridge's sole job...to keep things cold. I think it definitely adds a bit of humor to the whole project and I have received positive feedback so that was quite exciting. Once again, I would like to thank my flatmate for being brave enough to allow me to photograph her wearing it.
We've finally just finished a really interesting group animation project to create a stop motion video for Urquhart Partnership. We have a lot to learn about stop motion but I'm happy with the result of my first ever successful animation...so here it is: Hello...so this is my first blog post. Recently, I was given a two colour printing brief and I actually found it quite hard to find examples of work that only use two colours. When I stumbled upon The Dieline website, where work was praised, by the designer Christy Srisanan. I thought it was simple but worked really well, the confessions add a nice touch of humour to the product and the soft colour palette makes is a perfect example for my two colour brief. Obviously I wanted to research a bit more into who designed this creative packaging; one of the designers was Christy Srisanan so I visited her website and found a lot of examples of really nice work. A little bit of inspiration for me. Her Milla Milk work helped me with my two colour brief and her other work is really quite lovely, so go check her out for yourself - www.christy-srisanan.com.
